Linen jacket, linen shirt and linen trousers in the country this past weekend. As I've written before, I really like the drape of 14 ounce linen as well as its wearability in the summer heat despite its weight.

Dear Will, I always appreciate Your great taste and suggestions about the man elegance and Your excellent posts.
I completely agree with You that despite its heavy wight , linen is very breathable even during very hot summers; however I have to say that at least according to the very classical neapolitan tradition (as derived from the British one) odd linen jackets should never be matched with odd linen trousers but only with cotton or light wool trousers and viceversa .Of course linen suits are traditionally perfect.r
All Neapolitan traditions are the slightest bit suspect and this one especially so. I choose to ignore it, but should have mentioned that I do so. Thanks for your comment!
I think that the more dressed up cut of the jacket suits a linen & linen blend. And, as with most things in fashion, to follow the rule is correct, to bend the rule is style!
Kudos to the large cuff on the trouser - I know the more practical reason for it (i.e. weighting the linen of the trouser leg to help reduce inevitable wrinkles), but it adds a nice sartorial flair.
You'd fit right in down here in Charleston!
Charleston at its best is one of America's most impeccably dressed cities, and so I thank you.
Great ensemble Will!!
Are those 2-inch cuffs I see?
The cuffs are probably a bit more than an inch and three quarters.
