I'm off to Europe next week for some time relaxing in the country as well as shopping, fittings and writing in Budapest, London and Paris.
I plan to visit a couple dozen tailors, haberdashers and shoe makers while I'm travelling. If there's a source in those cities that you're particularly interested in reading about, let me know and I'll see if I can arrange to cover it.
A Suitable Wardrobe will be updated daily, though post times may be erratic when I'm in transit.

Hello,
I am particularly interested in the firm Harvie & Hudson. Do you mind covering the services they offer, are they truly a bespoke service, is their made to measure program worthy, and what of their neckband shirts. I also have one more interest, neckband shirts and stiff collars. Since you will be in London do you mind covering neckband shirts and stiff collars. I thank very much in advance. I am particularly interested in Harvie & Hudson because next summer I plan on interning in London at an Investment Bank and I hear they are recommended for by many in the City. Again, thank you very much. Enjoy your trip, may you be safe, and peace reside with you for the duration of you journey.
Best Wishes,
Stephen
Have a great trip.
Would love to hear what you are packing for the trip, and your overall sartorial impressions of the trip. Enjoy your stay!
Photos of what I'm packing may be a great idea!
I've never been terribly impressed with Harvie & Hudson. Nothing the matter particularly, but nothing outstanding either. And I doubt if they make many stiff collars these days.
Take a look at Budd when you get to London.
Hi Will,
If you have time in Budapest to visit Laszlo Vass (the shop or better even the manufactory) I would love to hear your impression.
Perhaps in contrast to english shoe makers like Lobb and Foster.
Thanks in advance and enjoy your trip.
Best regards,
Chris
Vass is definitely on my list.
