It's been cold and foggy this past week and that's enough to bring out a pair of dress boots for a shoe shine. These are dark oak Edward Green Shannons on the 606 last, from Leather Soul.
Half boots look just like shoes under trousers but the extra height of the boot top keeps the ankles warm and dry.
Before polishing, they are a bit dull.
But they gleam once Noah of A Shine & Co finishes working his magic on them.

Good point.
Nothing with laces is good for airports these days. I usually wear what are essentially slippers until I arrive at my destination.
Define cold. Don't you live in California? :)
You may remember that Mark Twain wrote that the coldest winter he ever spent was a summer in San Francisco. The wind chill dipped below fifty from time to time last week.
