Suits and Socks, Installment VIII

It was cool the other day, and a reasonable temperature for tweed. That meant a charcoal and tan twill weave suit (darker than the flash makes it appear) worn with dark brown brogues and pumpkin-colored socks. Above the waist, a yellow banker's stripe club collar shirt worn pinned, a pumpkin colored silk necktie with black and yellow stripes and an orange silk pocket square with small green figures.

Very nice. Like that color combination. I am in the market for brogue lace-ups to wear with my brown pants and gray sportjacket. I was thinking of a tan from C&J above Turnbull & Asser.

that's a wonderful color combo! carry around a tumbler of pumpkin spice latte and you're good to go.

john, i looked at the Turnbull & Asser website. i love the women's sweaters - i'm in preppy heaven!
