Dressing The Day After


Welcome to 2008. Clothes for a late lunch the day following New Years Eve. Scottish Keeper's Tweed jacket with a silk knit necktie.


Worn with charcoal whipcord trousers, argyle socks and crepe soled bluchers.

That's a wonderful look, Will. Very well done. I like the striped shirt contrasted with the check tweed and solid knit tie. Very nice. A perfect combo. If you would allow me an observation, I rarely (never?) see you wearing tassel loafers in your pics.

Yes, I like this look as well. I prefer ties with texture on the weekend or on a lazy holiday and often take out my knits for those times. All of the colors in this picture go very well.

Great combination. The jacket looks like a modern take on a nice 1960's Brooks Brothers number. Fantastic Anglo-American style. Timeless.
