Known for his oversized neckties, Prince Michael of Kent outdoes himself. It's out of proportion and I don't recommend it but I do need to give credit for the largest knot I have seen this century. The matching jacket and cloth cap are a sign of bespoke tailoring.

Now That is a Knot!

Wow. Are those moleskin trousers?
The prince looks great in this photo, and I love the trousers as well. Heck, I even like the necktie and knot. I couldn't pull it off, but the he seems to be able.
Sorry, I think that knot is amazing. It's unruly yet stately, like his beard. He's clearly not a man for dainty knots, and hats off to this royal ruffian.
The color and pattern combinations echo the Duke of Windsor.
Its big, you are right, but I love his style
Tom Ford said that the Prince was an inspiration for him to let his model wear oversize knots. So some still like it even though it would look odd on most of us.
I'd love to be able to wear something like this to work. Looks a lot more solid than the string bean ties seen around more and more lately.
Out of proportion, arguably, but wonderfully idiosyncratic. Rather like his uncle the Duke of Windsor's approach to fashion: individuality is king and conformity be damned.
Even more than the knot, the Prince has achieved a beard of imperial stature. HTJ would need some kind of hormone therapy to achieve such a regal beard. When the knot is paired with that beard, it is Perfect. A clean shaven man could wear no such knot. The key is the beard (imho).
A four-in-hand would be slaughtered by such facial hair.
