Regular ASW readers know that I'm a regular Sam Hober necktie customer. Regular, but by no means monogamous as I've not been able to convince David to stock a wider variety of solid colored silks. And, since I wear solid neckties far more than patterns, that leaves me with little choice but to shop around.
So April was knit tie month for me, and May has been summer solids. The two shown here were acquired from Ben Silver, to wear with tan jackets in the country.

Summer Solids

Very sharp, Will. You have a great eye for color. I'd like to see Hober offer knit ties but don't see any on his site.
I am getting simpler by the day in my taste in ties. I am basically down to solids, knits, grenadines, and the occasional polka dot. I am wearing a stripe today but I do that less and less. I just bought a solid yellow in a linen/silk mix from Paul Stuart last week to wear with my new Paul Stuart navy blazer and Hemrajani white/blue/red tattersall oxford.
Beautiful ties, Will, and handsome pairings.
I particularly love the aquamarine tie combined with the pattern of the shirt. I must confess the grey seems a touch flat, but then I also can't see what sort of jacket is framing it. I am also a fan of solid color ties, which I believe are a wonderful use of knit textures. I have some wonderful raw silk ties which I procured quite cheaply while visiting Cambodia. The colors are full and earthy, and the style/technology used to make the ties means they have a good measure of imperfection, which some certainly loathe but which I enjoy immensely.
Lovely ties and shirts, Will. The first tie, in a soft green, is just beautiful. Wow!
