Adolphe Menjou, Hollywood's best dressed man in the years before Astaire and Grant took his place, looking remarkably timeless. Change the button stance on the jacket and I'd be happy wearing those clothes today.

I just watched "Morning Glory" with Aldophe Menjou, Douglas Fairbanks, Jr., and Katherine Hepburn in her first Oscar-winning role. Nice film and Menjou and Fairbanks looked great.
Timeless but for one other respect: the caption describes his clothes as "casually elegant," whereas he would now be considered dressed-up.
Yeah, OK. But, that "stache" has to go!
The trousers are rather straight-cut for today's conventions though; of course that's what makes them great.
Will, what do you think is wrong with the button stance? I suppose it might be a bit high overall for modern days...that's the only thing I can think of.
