Since today is a holiday in the United States, I'd appreciate it if about 300 of you would donate 10-12 minutes of your free time to take my Blog Reader Project survey. The information is of interest to our advertisers, and those are the people that enable me to keep posting.
The survey is conducted by SurveyMonkey.com for a project funded and organized by Blogads.com, which sells advertising for 1500 leading American blogs.
Once enough people have replied, I'll post a summery of the aggregate information we collect so anyone interested can see what you say about yourselves. We learned some interesting things last year and there are a lot more of you this year.
Thank you for your support.

My religion was not listed in the Religious views question. Nor was there an "Other" option. I found this insulting and discontinued the survey.
As it is Thanksgiving, I wanted to share with you an incredible first-hand account of the terror attacks in Mumbai (http://cricketfamily.blogspot.com/2008/11/email-from-mumbai.html) We have so much to be thankful for.
With love,
Sara
I just took the survey. Problem is, I'm not American but German. SO most of the questions (Voting, TV shows, shopping habits) have little to no meaning to me. As I'm surely not the only Non American reading your (highly enjoyable) Blog, I fear my participation will rather warp the outcome (as 1 vote of 300 makes quite a difference as opposed to 1 vote of 3000).
Still, I hope you still get enough (or even more European) sponsors to keep your splendid work going.
Happy Thanksgiving over there!
I really do like this blog, however, I find that I do not have many opportunities to dress 'suitably'. Wearing a necktie at my place of employment is considered an anathema (sub-'business casual' is the preferred dress code).
Keep up the good work
pressing the next button on page 1 just took me back to page 1? is it a firefox problem
