The very gracious Sterling family of Sonoma County's Iron Horse Vineyards appreciates that mid-day entertaining is best done outdoors. Their 2005 Brut Rosé added still more color to the setting. 
Linen is the ideal accompaniment to lunch under the trees, with an ascot or neckerchief to close the neck.

The safari shirt has been in your wardrobe for a while, I know, but I just noticed that the shoulder straps are set quite far forward, well off the top of the shoulder. Is that generally the case with this type of shirt, or was this a custom detail? And in either case, what's the rationale?

Judging by the dress of the other male attendees, Will's expression is appropriate.
I hadn't ever noticed the placement of the shoulder straps to be honest. They are where the tailor put them.
The expression was my attempt to surreptitiously check out the very attractive young woman in the photo. :-)
