And the Clouds Parted

A cloudy May, usually summer here in the Bay area, ended with a little sunshine. That meant lighter weight clothing, finally. It has after all been a month since the warm weather stuff came out of storage so that it could hang unused.

Black and white houndstooth tropical weight suit worn on the weekend with a tan chambray shirt. The bow tie and pocket square have similar colors but very different patterns. Below the waist, fox suede semi-brogues and, out of doors, a brown linen cap.

Tropical weight black and white houndstooth...ahh...it was the second Flusser contrivance for me. The first being a nailhead in a bit heavier weight. Both remain in service after twenty years. Well done Will.

Nice looking jacket. I'm in the market for a light jacket this summer.

Nice combination, though the shirt looks more ecru than tan to me. I always think of tan as having more of a brown hue to it.

Wow, glad you posted this one Will. I taking delivery of a very similar tropical houndstooth suit next week. Naturally, I lose sleep over how I am going to wear it beyond the solid navy knit tie and white shirt.

I hoping it lasts as long as ADG's, since I'll be using it for lots of less formal daytime events this summer. Hopefully, this daytime use will include lots of stuff mixed with tonic water!
