.....sorry Will, you're invariably the go to guy on color matching and stylistic questions but these cufflinks are truly hideous. To be fair I'm very conservative when it comes to men's jewellry which is a bit of minefield and don't like tiebars or rings of any kind so I'm approaching this from a fairly austere viewpoint but even with those caveats these surely cross the line into flashiness. One feels they'd go very well with one of those name bracelet things.

Well it is self-fulfilling isn't it? If you don't know where you would wear them you don't need them. Not that need applies to things of this nature.
