For suede drivers, colors are fine. Slippers too. Personally, I don't go further.

I'd widen the net marginally to include desert boots but otherwise as you say Will, lines must be drawn!

The Ed Green product for ready made takes some beating. Unfortunately, in England they seem to follow what seems standard practice amongst premium shoemakers of only offering only E fittings. Thus you have the irony of having to come to NY if a choice of fittings.
