Dear Will, This may be a bridge to far, could you investigate the use of subtitles in your videos. This is to enable those of us in open plan offices who can't use sound, to enjoy your commentary and demonstration.
Somewhat off topic maybe, yet related. What is the best way to store a scarf, a silk one in particular? I always fold my scarfs and keep them in a drawer. But hanging them like a neck tie is another and possibly better way.
Will, Did you ever post the second video, the one where you demonstrate how to 'braid' a scarf? I'm interested, even though it hardly ever gets cold enough this far south to wear one. Last December in Amsterdam, on the other hand . . .

I am surprised that you would think the Euro/Parisian knot is formal.
I consider it a casual, fashion, knot.
I believe what I said was that it is more formal than simply looping your scarf around your neck.
