The skin of the stingray, a warm water fish related to sharks, is used to make shoes, belts, wallets and other small leathergoods.
It can also be used quite effectively to make cufflinks.

Defensive stinger included as option?
A stingray murdered Australian naturalist Steve Irwin, so it serves them right to be made into cufflinks.
