This morning I am delinquent, a state caused by the combination of our local boys' participation in baseball's World Series (where they are doing well so far, thankfully), and too much time spent perusing the badly organized
online auction catalog of Mr. Bernie Madoff's (yes, that Madoff) quite ordinary if somewhat expensive personal property. Including at least 108 pair of Belgian Shoes, size 9W (78 of them unworn - he was apparently concerned that they might run out of canvas or something).

Ah, wish I wore a Size 9 shoe... would set my shoe collection forward by a decade. I may try to purchase a humidor or something... curious as to whether there will actually be any deals.
