The PR rep for Ormonde Jayne, the London perfumery, had been promising one of that firm's new perfume travel kit for a couple of months to no avail. The kit, consisting of four individual 10ml (an OK for air travel third of an ounce) sprays of the Ormonde Man eau de parfum to which I had been previously addicted, seemed to be continually out of stock, a state she blamed on Bryan Ferry, who apparently kept telling friends and acquaintances about it (he apparently has a lot of scent-wearing friends and acquaintances).
All of course is well that ends well and the kit eventually arrived safely. The scent is as good as ever and here I am telling my friends and acquaintances about it.

Did you get any Zizan in the kit? It's a great one.
Will, congrats on the Forbes column. david
Will,
Enjoyed the Forbes inaugural article. It did bring to mind something that has puzzled me for a while. How does one tell the difference between the Macclesfield and Spitalsfield designs?
Might be a good blog topic.
Kind regards,
