Drake's Haberdashery to Open May 20

The doors of Drake's new haberdashery at No. 3 Clifford Street in London will open on Friday, May 20. Situated between Bond Street and Savile Row,  the shop will offer merchandise similar to that in the Drake's London online store as well as hundreds of choices of fabric for bespoke neckties made, of course, by Drake's.  The neighborhood has been missing a shop of this nature since Bowring & Arundel was shuttered years ago and I expect it will be worth, as the Guide Michelin is wont to say, at least a detour.

Drake's pricing for bespoke ties is rather aggressive, compared to their competitors. Their RTW selection is in line with others.

As I'm going to London this summer, I will make Drake's a must visit on my schedule. The same goes for future visits to San Francisco if there will ever be a bricks-and-mortars version of A Suitable Wardrobe.

I'm in London in early July and intend to check them out.
