Italian Influenced Prep

Prepino, or Italian influenced prep, is the signature style of Gus Walbolt, one of Style Forum's more useful contributors under the screen name of pocketsquareguy as well as one of the group of men responsible for convincing Mina Adamo of Napoli su Misura to begin visiting San Francisco regularly. Both are accomplishments of considerable merit.

He is wearing a linen suit with his white shirt and pocket square in the photo, however when he is not riding bronze turtles Walbolt's everyday look combines the shirt and square with an Italian odd jacket and a pair of trousers from his collection of classic Levis.

Looks like the turtle won and not the hair!

The perfect one-liner. And a splendid linen rig.

One sees the soothing effect of being well-turned-out on even the savage beast.

It looks like the wrong pair of shoes as nothing in his outfit convincingly relates to it. Otherwise nice.

Love the combo of blue and brown. Works together like am horse and carriage.
