Three Dandies

Andre Churchwell, Alan Flusser and Keith Churchwell posed for a photograph in Nashville, Tennessee recently. Flusser's clothing is so relaxed he looks as though he has been sipping coffee and reading the morning newspaper in his hotel suite before donning a necktie and a pair of slipon shoes to face the day.

I especially like Andre Churchwell's suit. Sharp and clean while relaxed at the same time. What material would it be?

Hi Will,
I always enjoy the photos of the Churchwells but I would love to see them up close. They always dress so elegantly (and interestingly) yet the photos are consistently from a distance such that I can't quite get an accurate and detailed picture (pun intended) of what they're wearing . I'd love to see a closer photo in the future.

I agree about Dr. Andre's suit. Just splendid. Isn't that a tweed of some kind? And the hat, shoe, tie combination is stunning.

Sarde, If you right click the photo and open it in a new tab you can get the source photo and zoom in on it.

The Churchwells never fail to turn out immaculately; I'm not half as enthusiastic about Flusser at any time. Whatever his credentials, he's a bad clothes horse. He's routinely described as wearing 'go to hell' clothes; this is more 'gone to pot'. IMO of course.

Three extremely sharp looking guys. Wow. . . Something for all of us to aspire to. Whoops, I ended that sentence with a preposition!

Best Regards,

When is their next singing gig?

Oops! I thought that these were The New Three Tenors.

Roger, ditto ditto. No one can fault Flusser's expertise but he looks like Jack Nicholson on a bad day.

Andre's suit looks straight out of the pages of Apparel Arts. Wonderful.

I have to say when I imagine a thinner, younger man wearing Flusser's ensemble it doesn't seem quite so bad. Put that on a college student and it would be a lot of fun. The real problem is that he doesn't seem to dress with flattering his figure or complexion in mind.
