The Start Of A Season
Summer does not begin officially until June 20 in the Northern Hemisphere, but in the United States the Memorial Day holiday of the last weekend in May is generally associated with the start of the season. It is the traditional time to honor our war dead, watch the Indianapolis 500 motor race and dine outdoors.
In the photograph, summer outdoor dining clothes including a Milan straw hat, Minnis fresco jacket and trousers, banded slipon shoes, a linen shirt, houndstooth socks and one of my knit ties.

Do you have your fresco trousers lined? I find them rather harsh without. But also cooler.
The whole idea to Fresco being 'cool' I can't imagine any possible reason for lining them. If the material is too harsh for your skin, perhaps you should switch to linen?
Mine are unlined save for a pair of the eight ounce that I thought would be too transparent.
Agreed, lining defeats the purpose here. And it's a nice bit of irony anyway, suffering a little for the sake of comfort.
Will, The clothes are of course quite nice but the real depth of your style is revealed by the condiment on the table, sriracha.
Cheers,

Nice combo! Fearing ^ being seen to enjoy ketchup (fancy calling it 'condiment') is another of those petty fears from which we need to free ourselves! Well done in leading the way!
That's not ketchup, NJS, it's sriracha, otherwise known as Hot Cock Sauce.
That tie is an excellent accessory with that.
Well, RJM, let's hope that Will only burned the fresco trews!
hehy will whats it like being so elegant in a country where trainers and dirty nikes are the norm, just curious as you must be like a star to all the people in your town
