Will, were the velvet slippers with embroidery au courant when you matriculated in the halls of Ivy? Not sure I associate those with Ivy style such as it ever was...

Fair beef, but the exhibit does defines "Ivy" loosely, with some artifacts dating from the interwar era in which men were taking somewhat more decadent cues than are usually associated with the label.
