Very Noel Coward. What seems to have disappeared entirely(except in enormously expensive cashmere versions) is the traditional "heavy" woollen winter robe usually in a plaid pattern. My last one wore out about 8 years ago and I've never been able to find a replacement here or in the UK (it's the home of this garment I'm sure).
