A friend sent a photo of the late Gianni Agnelli the other day asking "Why don't we look this good in our Solaro?" I replied that it's "the hair, the Roman nose, and the tan."
In the photo, a blue super oxford shirt, navy grenadine necktie and Solaro jacket. Maybe it would have looked better with a shirt that had a slight violet tone to the blue. It would definitely have looked better with the aforementioned hair, nose and tan.

You could always have a nose job Will...I believe they're quite fashionable in CA. The Solaro however looks great.
Doesn't seem useful to make comparisons. Your outfit need only flatter you, and it does.
I know there are several patterns of the authentic Solaro cloth. Yours appears to be the plain one. Your opinion? How do you feel about the herringbone, diamond, etc. patterns?
Also, how is that jacket lined? Seems a shame to put a lining over that great red color.
Mine is the herringbone and it is half lined as I wear it on moderate sunny days.
I smell a market opportunity for bespoke wigs...
I don't think Mr. Agnelli still needs one.
