Great post, Will. I really like tan or beige coloured sport jackets (incl. tweed) for warm weather wear. Just the other day, in fact, I wore a beige linen jacket, flannels in mid-grey, white spread collar shirt, navy knit tie, and dark tan tassel loafers to a reception at the local golf club. I always find it tricky trying to match light-coloured jackets with darker trousers, and I don't know

Excellent timing. I'm going to visit Brooks Brothers this weekend and will be looking at the gabardine, although probably for trousers. I have a bonus check burning a hole in my pocket.
