The fabric of the trousers is simply not on offer today in the off the rack market. I suspect that it would be hard to track down even for a made to order trouser. Men today are not found wearing this arrangement as they could not find it available if they wanted to dress in tht style.

That is a very handsome vest, BTW. The suede appears to have a great finish.

I think the multiple layers actually help to pull this together. If it were just the herringbone jacket and trousers, it would look pretty bland, despite the bold patterns on both items -- the similarity of the beige tones would make it look a bit washed out. The waistcoat, scarf and Barbour jacket with its green exterior and check lining are what make the whole outfit really work.

Will; I love the herring bone coat. Is that a sport jacket or some kind of overcoat. The pants look very full if in fact those are the pants. He has alot of layers going on there. I doubt I would ever have the need to put on that many layers of clothing.
