The shoulder creases are from the way the jacket was packed and need more steam or a tailor's iron. The linen makes them less tractable than wool would be.

The fresco is 8/9 ounces.

Personally I like the lighter purples better than pink with blue. Pink is better with gray.

And though one can find two toned all leather shoes at reasonable prices, I don't know of a maker priced below Crockett & Jones that offers suede with leather versions. C&Js are about $600 a pair I believe.

That's a beautiful jacket. I love the color, the buttons are perfect, and it looks like it'll be just the thing for summer.

I like how the navy tie dresses up the outfit, yet stays informal because it's knit. It occurs to me that a pink tie, perhaps a pink bow tie, would also go well with this jacket.

In the photo, the jacket seems to be fitting awkwardly in the shoulders -- there are pronounced creases extending diagonally from the armpit to the neckline. Is this a result of the packaging or a more worrisome issue?
